CinemaBlend has a photograph of the Scott Pilgrim vs The World poster! You can see it here! Doesn’t it look cool? =)

Over at the Licensing Show going on in Las Vegas right now, a handful of studios are debuting artwork and posters from some of their most-anticipated projects, from movies still in production to titles that haven’t even been cast yet. AICN tipster Pitdoc snapped photos of some of the best stuff, including logos for the Marvel Avengers movies and gigantic posters for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. (…)

By far the coolest, from my standpoint, is the Scott Pilgrim poster, which eschews images of its star Michael Cera in favor of the original images from the graphic novel. You could mistake it for a cover of the graphic novel, honestly.

Mary came in at #88 in Maxim’s Top 100 Sexiest Women in 2009! Considering that she hasn’t really been much in the media spotlight last year that is really awesome, and she’ll certainly climb even higher after the release of Scott Pilgrim! Congratulations, girl! =)

Universal Pictures has launched the official website for director Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Aubrey Plaza, Kieran Culkin, Brie Larson, Mae Whitman, Ellen Wong, Anna Kendrick, Mark Webber, Alison Pill and Satya Bhabha.

The site features the first Video Blog from Wright about the pre-production for the film, which is based on the Bryan Lee O’Malley graphic novel. In the movie, Ramona V. Flowers (Winstead) is the dream woman of a young slacker, Scott Pilgrim (Cera). But the only way he can win her heart is by battling and defeating her seven evil ex-boyfriends.

Check out the site here! Many previous Blog posts from Wright about the movie can be found on his site as well.

Finally we have some Mary news and it’s good! Apparently Mary will get the female lead in the new movie “Pilgrim”:

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in negotiations to star opposite Michael Cera in Universal’s “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.” Edgar Wright is directing the adventure romance.

In “Pilgrim,” Winstead will play the dream woman of a young slacker (Cera). But the only way he can win her heart is by battling and defeating her seven evil ex-boyfriends.

The project is based on the Oni Press graphic novel “Scott Pilgrim Volume 1: Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life,” written by Bryan Lee O’Malley. Michael Bacall and Wright wrote the screenplay.

Marc Platt and Eric Gitter are producing along with Wright and Nira Park, who produce via Big Talk Prods.

The role could take Winstead (”Live Free or Die Hard”) to leading lady status much the same way “Knocked Up” raised Katherine Heigl’s profile when she was paired opposite Seth Rogen.

Universal’s Donna Langley, Jeff Kirschenbaum and David Ortiz are overseeing.

Winstead is repped by Paradigm and Betty Winstead.
